Live online auctions allow interested parties to purchase the vehicle of their choice from the comfort of their own home. We offer the opportunity for interested parties to view available vehicles via a private, pre-arranged viewing (dependent on Government guidelines regarding Covid-19) at a central location which is fully equipped to show your vehicle at its best and allow a full inspection. All viewings are carried out with a member of our experienced team present to ensure that queries can be answered and to protect our vendors interests.

We want to make selling your car as easy and straight-forward as possible. By following the simple step-by-step guide below you will be able to submit your vehicle(s) to CCA for inclusion in a forthcoming auction.  Once submitted you will receive a confirmation e-mail and a follow-up phone-call from one of our specialists.  Once all the details have been established and entry is confirmed, you can be assured that your car will be marketed to the widest and most relevant audience available.

To submit a classic car or motorbike into our December auction, please click here.

We assess the value of all entries based on the information you provide including their condition.  During your discussions with our specialists, if our estimate meets your expectations and you would like to proceed, then the terms of sale are confirmed and your car will be entered into one of our auction events.

Once Terms and Conditions have been agreed upon and you have settled any relevant Entry Fees, we will confirm receipt of the consignment. Following this, instructions will be given to you to enable the sending of all relevant paperwork (e.g. history file, receipts etc.) for the car to CCA in preparation for the auction. These procedures effectively represent the formal instruction of CCA to sell the car on your behalf.

A cataloguing fee is charged when you confirm your entry into one of our auctions.

Premium listing: £250 +VAT. This fee covers photography, script writing, video, worldwide marketing, inclusion in our e-catalogue and viewing by appointment (subject to Government advice regarding Covid-19) for the week preceding the sale. This listing is subject to availability, please consult with your classic car consignor.

Standard listing: £125 +VAT. This fee covers worldwide marketing, inclusion in our e-catalogue and viewing by appointment (subject to Government advice regarding Covid-19) for the week preceding the sale. You will be required to provide your own selection of photographs (and video if preferred).

The earlier you consign your vehicle into the sale the more marketing we will be able to carry out on your behalf, increasing the interest in your vehicle.

Should your vehicle sell at auction, we will charge our standard seller's commission of 5% +VAT based on the hammer price your entry has achieved, with a minimum charge of £350 +VAT.

You will need to arrange for the vehicle to be delivered our viewing location (TBC), this is in advance of the viewings.

The vehicle should arrive in a presentable and saleable condition. If your vehicle is deemed to require further cleaning/presentation you will be notified prior to any work being carried out. There will be a charge deducted from net sale proceeds.

For those sellers who require assistance with transportation we have a logistics partner (E M Rogers) who will be happy to provide a quote.

Please ensure all history files, documentation and V5c’s are delivered with the vehicle. Any private plates not included in the sale must be put on retention.

This guide should be read in conjunction with our full terms and conditions of sale for live online auctions.

Proceeds of your sold entry will be paid to you within a maximum of 14 working days after the auction date provided we have received the full purchase price from the buyer. We will settle with you the amount of the hammer price less any outstanding charges (including the fees we previously agreed).
